Her classes run at the Millais School in Horsham from September to December and then January through to March. They are on a Tuesday and Thursday evening and start at 7pm until 9pm. The course is run over 3 years, containing six individual modules, one in September and one in January. Anyone can start the course at any point as each 10 week term covers completly new topics, flowers and skills. The only topics that are carried out each term are how to marzipan and sugarpaste a cake and how to pipe around the base of the cake. This enforces these skills each term to perfect them. Each term is broken into two; the first half learning how to make specified flowers and leaves, then the second half is on how to marzipan, sugarpaste and pipe around the cake. Other topics are also covered in the second half of the term, so students can gain the skills to make their own wedding cake or celebration cake and Christmas cake. All levels of cake decorating experience welcome, from the complete beginner to those wishing to improve their existing skills.
